LEADERSHIP TRAINING THAT IMPACTS YOUR MISSION
Take extreme ownership of your leadership and management skills to bring out the best in your department
First Responders Face Numerous Leadership Challenges
Over the past few years, first responders have faced a global pandemic, recruiting and retention issues, inflation, budgetary concerns, increased scrutiny from the community – it feels endless. Despite these challenges, agency leaders are asked to put their best foot forward and provide guidance and wisdom to their team when they need it most.
“I just finished the Extreme Ownership online training series from Lexipol and Echelon Front. On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate it a 12! I have mandated this training for all supervisors and command-level officers at my agency and am piloting it to patrol officers as well. I sincerely believe in the ‘everyone is a leader’ concept, regardless of rank – and this program further reinforces that belief.”

Six-Part Online Leadership Training Series Includes
Part 1
The Believe module teaches the fundamental truth that a resolute belief in the mission is critical for any team or organization to win. To persevere through inevitable challenges or convince and inspire others to follow and accomplish a mission, a leader must be a true believer in that mission.
Part 2
The Extreme Ownership module teaches the foundational leadership principle of Extreme Ownership, a mindset where there are no excuses and no one else to blame. Leaders at every level of an organization, from chiefs and commissioners to those on the front line, must own everything in their world—everything that impacts their mission.
Part 3
The Laws of Combat are the behaviors we want to exhibit as leaders. The four laws are (1) Cover and Move, (2) Simple, (3) Prioritize and Execute and (4) Decentralized Command. You’ll learn the importance of each of the laws and how they work together to help you make sound decisions in high-stakes situations.
Part 4
As human beings, we all have some common tendencies. We tend to lack discipline. We tend to freeze up when we see problems or prefer to wait for more information before taking action. We tend to avoid change and prefer to stay in our comfort zone. The Mindsets for Victory help to fight against these natural tendencies.
Part 5
Part 6
Leading down the chain of command requires regularly engaging with frontline troops so you better understand their challenges. Leading up the chain of command entails building relationships with your leaders so you can obtain the support needed to enable your team to be successful. This course shows you how to lead up, down and across the chain of command to achieve victory.

“You can’t make people listen to you. You can’t make them execute. That might be a temporary solution for a simple task. But to implement real change, to drive people to accomplish something truly complex or difficult or dangerous—you can’t make people do those things. You have to lead them.”
